'Last Chance Harvey' and 'Marley & Me' capture the Heartland

The Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award rewards films displaying "the best of the human spirit."

"Last Chance Harvey" and "Marley & Me" have received the Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award from Heartland Truly Moving Pictures. They are the first films to win the Heartland Award this year.

The nonprofit Heartland Truly Moving Pictures seeks to "recognize and honor filmmakers whose work explores the human journey by expressing home and emphasizing the best of the human spirit."
