4. Do we need more of the rancor and residue of alcohol abuse or smoking fallout of another incarnation? If we could impute the costs of M legalization to the user alone I'd be all for it. I am assaulted by the legalized boozer and smoker stuff every day. Decrim' of small amounts? Well , thats overdue from a clogging of our penal systems viewpoint.

5. Interesting, you found a corrupt doctor handing out marijuana prescriptions like candy. Aside from this being an interesting story it proves nothing. You can find corrupt politicians, prosecutors, defense lawyers, legislator, etc. etc. etc. that will do a great number of things for the right price. Does that mean that any of these entities as a whole are invalid? Nope. It only means that the corrupt person you found is.. well corrupt and willing to break rules. So you see, this fails as a critique of medical marijuana use.

8. Correction: Federal law does not "trump" state law. They're just different jurisdictions. The Supreme Court decision did not "strike down" California's medical pot laws. The effect of the ruling is that both state and federal laws are being enforced simultaneously, which is why dispensaries continue to operate in accordance with state law, but can still be raided by federal law enforcement. Yes, it's confusing, but the United States is a federation, and we're bound to run into situations like this from time to time.
