Chris Paine's Marrakesh House: A 1950s home gets a Moroccan redo

Chris Paine, the filmmaker best known for his 2006 documentary “Who Killed the Electric Car?,” recently transformed a 1950s-era modernist house in Baldwin Hills into a Moroccan oasis. Though the house is meant to promote environmentally friendly remodeling and sustainable living, the look of the home reflects Paine’s personal love of Moroccan design.
