OneRepublic had a hit in 2007 with "Apologize," but that doesn't explain why the sentimental rockers were at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards.
Since the last Billboard Music Awards occurred in 2006, maybe the act had been promised a slot at the 2007 edition that never was? Who knows, but someone was probably owed a favor, and it wasn't the television viewing audience. |
