Rooney Mara wowed on screen and off at the New York premiere of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." Mara plays Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker who helps Mikael Blomkvist -- played by Daniel Craig -- in his search for a missing woman.

Announcements of this movie's pending release prompted me to read all three of Steig Larrson's epic story, wrapped in three books referred to as the millennium trilogy by some. "Girl With A Dragon Tattoo" is a great movie. I like both versions, and now have to see the Swedish film again after seeing the Hollywood rendition.
BTW: Read ALL the books! There will never be another story like this.
I am a fan. This is a good film even if they had to change a few key elements of the story. Or did they? I hope they make "Fire" and "Hornets Nest" with Daniel Craig as Blomkvist again. He played the writer quite well. And I liked Rooney Mara as Lisbeth. She got my freak on. ~:>
