Variety's Power of Comedy

Actor Russell Brand was honored with the first-ever Power of Comedy event at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles. The event was sponsored by entertainment-industry trade paper Variety and proceeds went to the non-profit Noreen Fraser Foundation, which benefits women's cancer research.
