Who will be Grammy’s ‘Idol’?
“American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood took home two Grammys last year, including best new artist. This year, she’s back as a performer, and has two nominations, including one for best female country vocal performance (“Before He Cheats”).
But she may not be the “Idol” star who makes the biggest impact. While rocker Chris Daughtry hasn’t been announced as a performer, he did score three nominations, including one for best rock album for his band’s self-titled debut, “Daughtry,” and he rides into the Grammys with one of the best-selling rock albums of 2007.
