The animation race
With 18 animated feature films submitted for Academy Award consideration, there's sure to be five nominees to root for come the Oscar ceremony in February. But what films will make the final cut? Some of the potential nominees most Americans aren't even familiar with — the French film "A Cat in Paris" or the "Chico & Rita," a dramatic story of love and loss that starts off in 1948 Cuba. Here's a look at some of the other contenders more familiar on these shores.
