![]() Leonardo DiCaprio, 'Revolutionary Road'
Though he has three Oscar nods, this 33-year old actor has yet to fully escape the heartthrob image that overwhelmed him a decade ago after starring in the biggest movie of all time. Reuniting with his "Titanic" love interest, Kate Winslet, the duo play frustrated '50s suburban parents in "Revolutionary Road."
This adaptation of Richard Yates' novel is helmed by Winslet's Oscar-winning husband Sam Mendes ("American Beauty") and produced by the prolific Scott Rudin ("No Country for Old Men"). With all of these credentials, expect this domestic drama to figure prominently in the awards race. Though the everyman-in-crisis role once ruled, more showy parts have prevailed at the Oscars in recent years. While Kevin Spacey won for "American Beauty" in 1999, Tom Wilkinson lost for "In the Bedroom" in 2001. (WireImage)
