Lindsay Lohan and her perpetual appendage Samantha Ronson were spotted sitting in the front row of Sam's sister Charlotte Ronson's fashion show this week in New York.

Um, is it just us or has Lindsay Lohan boosted her ... profile lately?

We don't remember her having that much cleavage. Is that new? Or just a few extra enhancements stuffed in there?

Looks a bit matronly. But we love-love Sam's new reddish brown hair color and crop job. With her pale skin, it's really flattering. Two thumbs up.

Expect to see these two together again in L.A. on tonight at the InTouch Weekly post VMA party at that trendy hotel hangout Chateau Marmont.

Sam's gonna be spinning that night in a tent behind the Bar Marmont, and Lindsay's probably going to be there to support her close pal.

Please tell me that Evan Rachel Wood is just kidding around with her "The Wrestler" costar Mickey Rourke at the film's Venice Film Festival premiere.

Then tell me she's not really making out on the red carpet with the actor, who is old enough to be her horribly disfigured father. This shot is mild. Check out more photos of the snuggly couple here.

But I don't think the film needs this kind of help. It's already getting great reviews and is being touted as Rourke's big cinematic comeback. Plus it won the Venice fest's Golden Lion award.

I never thought I'd say this but I just pray Evan is still dating Marilyn Manson. Oh, god. There, I said it.

Oprah Winfrey has had Sen. Barack Obama on her talk show twice.

So why won't she invite Gov. Sarah Palin on?

After the Drudge Report ran an item about how Oprah didn't want to have Palin on, Oprah issued a statement to TMZ  explaining why she won't invite Palin until after the election.

"The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."

Obama was on her show in January 2005 and  October 2006 -- admittedly a long time before he announced his presidential run.

What do you think? Is Oprah -- who supports Obama -- being biased and unfair? And are you surprised? Should she have all the candidates on?

Frankly, I'd like to see Sarah Palin interviewed on Oprah.

It would do American voters a great service to be able to get to know Sarah a bit better. Beats the heck out of another lame Tom Cruise interview too.

Keep your eyes on Sarah Palin.

And her eyewear.

The Alaska governor and Republican nominee for vice president has been in the limelight for only a few days. But, according to USA Today, she's already starting an eyewear trend.

She recently updated her eyewear and had new lightweight, titanium, rimless rectangular frames made for her by Home Optics, a retailer in Chugiak, Alaska.

The frames are designed by Kazuo Kawasaki,  from the 704 series, in 34 gray. They start at $375 but can hit $700, depending on the lenses.

Home Optics owner Joy Leedham went to Palin's home in late December and fitted her in her kitchen. The governor had around 300 frames to consider and narrowed it down to five.

Her family helped pick the final style.  The frames Palin picked "help her look fashion-forward," Leedham told USA Today.

The U.S. distributor of Kawasaki frames told USA Today that calls are already coming in from dealers who want to stock the exact shape and style Palin's wearing.

Let's hope pregnant teenage daughters aren't the next big craze Sarah inspires.

Since dumping her Italian businessman boyfriend — who's now charged with money laundering, conspiracy and more — Anne Hathaway has made a pretty remarkable recovery.

She hung out at the Democratic National Convention with her possible new beau, Josh Lucas. And they reportedly were "holding hands."

This week she stunned onlookers at the Venice Film Festival with her Atelier Versace bilevel gray satin and chiffon couture gown at the premiere of her new film, "Rachel Getting Married."

I'd say she's totally over that Raffaello Follieri!

OMG, a New York cop had to physically restrain Jennifer Aniston yesterday.

Wonder what got her so riled up?

Did she spot her creepy ex-beau John Mayer talking trash about her to his paparazzi pals again?

David Spade really is the father, according to People.com, of Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace's baby daughter, born in Missouri on Aug. 26.

"David and Jillian have been in close contact throughout her pregnancy and he plans to go see the baby during his first break from shooting 'Rules of Engagement,' " Spade's rep, Meredith O'Sullivan, tells People.com, confirming his paternity.   

Spade had admitted back in January that he had a short-term relationship with Grace.

And he promised that if it turned out he was the biological father, he would accept responsibility.

So somebody musta done a DNA test. Or checked the calendar.

Oh goodie! Big fat child support checks!

Hard to believe that David Spade could actually land himself a babelicious Playmate, but there you go.

CosmoGirl has an very cool interview with three of "Twilight's" hot young actors: Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Kellan Lutz (Emmett) and Robert Pattinson (Edward).

About their "Twilight" characters, Pattinson says that Edward is “conflicted and reluctant.” Also: "He's a poet, and very deep and profound. He's just extraordinarily troubled."

Lutz admits that his character is the tough guy, a protector. “He's a goofball, but when he snaps, he's menacing and there's no stopping him."

Lautner’s character is a "normal high school guy" in the first film. “But I'm excited to play him in the sequels as his character evolves.”

"Evolve" is putting it mildly.

A few things we didn't know: Lautner has seen “Enchanted” five or six times. He liked "The Hitcher," and "Gothika" gave him bad dreams. Lutz liked "The Notebook," and as a kid, he used to dress up as a vampire on Halloween. One of Pattinson’s fave horror films is "The Exorcist."

Would they want to live for all eternity? Well, what do you think?

 Pattinson says, “I kind of like the idea that I could see what death is like and then come back again."

And there are a few million fans who'd say, "Bite me, please bite me!' to spend eternity with him.

Lutz thinks It would be cool to live for hundreds of years.  On one condition. “If I could stay 23 years old for 500 years, I'd probably take that deal."
