SAG announces 2008 calendar
Changes could affect award season momentum.

For those suffering an awards season hangover, here's a little hair of the dog. The Screen Actors Guild Awards have announced their calendar for the 2008 awards.
The awards ceremony will be held on Jan. 27 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Nomination announcements have moved up from Jan. 4 to Dec. 20. Organizers hope the move will give members more time to view all the nominated performances. This change will be something for awards-watchers to bear in mind as other groups make their calendar announcements throughout the year.
