SAG Awards statuettes cast

The Actor statuettes, to be awarded at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 28, have been cast in solid bronze at the American Fine Arts Foundry in Burbank, Calif.

Originally sculpted by Edward Saenz and designed by Jim Heimann and Jim Barrett, the statuettes are cast under the supervision of Brett Barney.

The Actor weighs 12 pounds and stands 16 inches tall. Numbered sequentially, 456 statuettes have been awarded since the first one was presented in 1995.
