“I’m messy, disorganized, get drunk a lot and sleep in every day, but I do tend to finish quickly because I can’t be bothered to finish slowly. I had never dabbled in the screenplay format before so there was this sense of novelty and I realized I liked reading the lines aloud, and hearing how they sounded as opposed to writing prose in the past.”
