Producer's Guild announce TV noms

'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Lost' and 'The Office' among nominees.

The Producers Guild of America announced the nominees for their television categories, to be presented at an awards gala on January 20th.

In all categories, the nominees are a surprising mix of ratings success and critical favor. As well, no single network dominated, with NBC and CBS each garnering 4, while HBO, Fox and ABC all received 3 nominations.

Vying for the Danny Thomas Producer of the Year Award in Episodic Television Comedy will be the shows ""Arrested Development," "Curb Your Enthusiasm." "My Name Is Earl," "The Office" and "Weeds."

In competition for the Norman Felton Producer of the Year Award in Episodic Television Drama are "Grey's Anatomy," "House," "Lost," The Sopranos," and "24."

The award for non-fiction television will go to one of the following: "The Amazing Race," "American Idol," "Dancing With The Stars," "Project Runway," or "60 Minutes."

In the category of variety television, the nominees are "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," "Late Show With David Letterman," "Real Time With Bill Maher," and "The XX Olympic Games: Opening Ceremony."

Nominations in the theatrical motion picture categories will be announced January 4th.
