Rumer Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, has been named Miss Golden Globe by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony on January 13, 2008.

Miss Golden Globe is traditionally the daughter of a well-known celebrity. Among previous holders of the title are Lorraine Nicholson, Laura Dern and Melanie Griffith.

The 19-year-old Willis, with a fledgling acting career of her own, has become something of a recent staple of the local party and tabloids circuit. Her appearance could be seen as a move by HFPA to court the youthful glamour and teeming popularity of the US Weekly/Access Hollywood/gossip-blog set.
